Stone will reportedly collaborate with her husband, Dave McCary, on the film. McCary is expected to direct the movie from a screenplay written by Patrick Kang and Michael Lewin. The producers behind the project include Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine through their company 21 Laps, alongside Michael H. Weber. Stone and McCary, along with Ali Herting, are also in talks to produce the film through their production company, Fruit Tree.
This marks Stone’s first project since her critically acclaimed performance in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” which earned her a second Academy Award for Best Actress.
